My passion for property was born around my family’s dining table.

When my Father’s boatbuilding business was forced to relocate, my parents became accidental landlords.

We spent a lot of time at the dining table discussing the resulting property issues. I saw first-hand the downside when a leasing deal didn’t work out. That was the lightbulb moment for me. No more bad property deals. So, I went to University to gain the qualifications I needed to help my parents.

Since then, I’ve spent the last few decades helping businesses grow through sourcing premises, negotiating leases and acquisitions, redeveloping property to align with business needs and prospering through proactive lease management.

Ultimately, the property sector is where my passions and interests intersect – I love the intellectual challenges involved. Being able to craft a strategy to meet client needs in a property deal, and then to see their businesses succeed and thrive long-term is extremely fulfilling.

I am a Project Manager with over 15 years of experience rolling out retail premises in New Zealand.

I combine good old common sense and analytics with an innovative and creative flair for finding premises and project managing the planning, design, scope of works, procurement, and fitout of retail and industrial premises.

I believe in coordinating people and tasks to timeframes, communicating and engaging with stakeholders and suppliers, facing challenges with Kiwi ingenuity and sound judgment, and mitigating risks before they surface.
